Trimble Strikes First With ASCS Western Plains At El Paso County Raceway
Picking up right where he left off in 2025, Adam Trimble captured the 2026 season opening showdown at El Paso County Raceway with the ASCS Western Plains Region.
Trailing the opening circuits to Austyn Gossel, the lead changed hands to Trimble on Lap 11. Uncontested from there, Trimble made it to the Lap 25 checkered flag with a 0.917-second advantage. Kyler Johnson made it to second, with Garrett Benson going 10th to third. Cole Schroeder and Zach Merritt made up the top five.
The next event for the ASCS Western Plains Region is April 24-25 at Cortez Fairgrounds Speedway.
