ASCS Western Plains Kicking Off 2026 Slate At El Paso County Raceway On Saturday

Kicking off the 2026 season for Sprint Car racing in Colorado, the ASCS Western Plains Region will do battle on Saturday, April 4 at El Paso County Raceway in Calhan.

Looking back at the 2025 campaign, three stops at El Paso County Raceway yielded just as many winners, with Bryan Gossel, who collected the 2025 series title, and Adam Trimble set to compete. The mid-season win by Jason Martin was in conjunction with the National Tour of the American Sprint Car Series.

The first of four trips to the quarter-mile oval in 2026, the Saturday showdown opens at noon and gets underway at 4:00 P.M. (MDT) and includes Stock Cars, Sport Mods, Hobby Stocks, Compacts, NOW600 Micros, Warriors, and Dwarf Cars.
