ASCS Western Plains Back At El Paso County This Saturday

Back at El Paso County Raceway on Saturday, May 2, the ASCS Western Plains Region will headline Fan Appreciation Night at the quarter-mile Colorado oval.

The second trip to El Paso County in 2026, the previous showing on April 4 went the way of Adam Trimble, who captured the lead near the race’s mid-point from Austyn Gossell. The second race of the season, after Mother Nature intervened at Cortez, Trimble leads the points over Kyler Johnson, Garrett Benson, Cole Schroeder, and Zack Merritt.

The Saturday showdown opens at 3:00 P.M. and gets underway at 4:00 P.M. (MDT) and includes JR Warriors, Dwarf Cars, Warriors, IMCA Hobby Stock, IMCA Northern Sport Mods, IMCA Sport Compact, and IMCA Stock Cars.
