ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints Rolling To Baton Rouge

Making a second attempt at getting the 2025 season rolling, the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints are set to make landfall on Saturday, April 12 with the tour’s first appearance of the season at Baton Rouge Raceway.

Weathered out the last two attempts at the Louisiana oval, the last visit by the series will have been 364 days ago, when Jan Howard visited victory lane on April 13, 2024. Jan’s lone victory with the tour last year, Howard made nine appearances throughout the 2024 season and finished sixth in points.

Saturday opens at 4:00 p.m. for the pits, with grandstands opening at 5:00 p.m. Hot Laps are at 7:00 p.m., and racing is at 8:00 p.m. (CDT). Other divisions on the card include Mini Wedge, Factory Stock, Rookie Limited Modified, CRUSA Street Stocks, Young Guns, Limited Modified, Stinger, Generation Next Limited Mods, and CRUSA Dirt Late Models

General Admission is $20 for adults, $5 for youth (7-12), and free for kids six and under. Pits are $40.

The 2025 season marks the 34th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
