Sawyer Phillips Takes The Blue Ribbon With ASCS Midwest At Clay County

In the DeBerg Concrete Battle of the Blue Ribbon, it will stay in Iowa as Sawyer Phillips battled to Thursday’s $5,000 score with the Malvern Bank ASCS Midwest Region presented by Hoosier Tire at the Clay County Fair Speedway in Spencer, Iowa.

Getting the lead on the start, that is where the Pleasantville, Iowa racer would stay, as he completed the 35-lap affair with 1.124 seconds to spare over Colorado’s Jake Bubak, followed by Zach Blurton to complete the night’s podium. Scott Winters and Trey Meredith made up the top five.

The 2026 season for the Malvern Bank ASCS Midwest Region presented by Hoosier Tire comes down to one final weekend on Saturday, September 26, at Off Road Speedway and Sunday, September 27, at Beatrice Speedway.
