Three drivers, two nights, one title is up for grabs this weekend with the Malvern Bank ASCS Midwest Region presented by Hoosier Tire with a Saturday/Sunday showdown at Off-Road Speedway in Norfolk, Neb. and Beatrice Speedway in Beatrice, Neb.
Paying $3,000 to win on Saturday, September 26, at Off-Road Speedway, the winner’s share goes up to $3,400 on Sunday, September 17, at Beatrice. Both nights offer $400 to start.
Down to the wire, with Missouri’s Jack Thomas leading the way, the margin is 46 from first to third, with Joey Danley and Jake Bubak giving chase. A much wider spread before last week’s Thursday night showdown at Clay County Fair Speedway, Thomas was absent from the Iowa visit, allowing Danley’s 17th-place finish to make up 96 points, while Bubak ran second and closed up 142 markers on the top spot.
Saturday at Off-Road Speedway opens at 5:00 P.M. with Hot Laps at 6:15 P.M. (CDT). The card includes IMCA Late Model. IMCA Stock Car, IMCA Hobby Stock, and Crown Vics. Sunday night at Beatrice Speedway will include IMCA Hobby Stocks by Prellwitz Exteriors and IMCA Sport Compacts by Twin Rivers Ford. The track is located at 321 Logan Avenue in Beatrice, Neb.
