ASCS Desert Non-Wing Is Back At Arizona Speedway This Saturday

Bryan Hulbert – QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. (October 27, 2021) Into the final events of the 2021 season, the San Tan Ford ASCS Desert Non-Wing Series returns to Arizona Speedway on Saturday, October 30.

Three rounds of action to go, Joshua Shipley leads the tour with an 81-point buffer over Bryan Ledbetter, Jr. while AJ Hernandez rides third in tour standings. Patrick Krob and Troy DeGaton make up the top five.

Taking the Halloween theme this Saturday night, the event will feature Truck or Treat for the kids during Intermission.

Saturday, October 30, opens at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (MT). Tickets are $20 for adults and free for kids 11 and under. Pit Passes are $35 with youth 7-12 only $10. Children under 6 are free in the Pits. Saturday is Fan Appreciate Night and will feature prizes and giveaways.

The night’s lineup of classes also includes the final appearance of the year for IMCA Sport Mods, Stock Cars, and Bombers.

The 2021 season marks the 30th year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, the ASCS Nation also includes 11 Regional Tours that encompass both wing and non-wing competition.
