Caleb Saiz Hits Black Hills Gold With ASCS Northern Plains
Rolling north from New Mexico, Caleb Saiz kicked off his weekend with the ASCS Northern Plains with a victory at the high-banked Black Hills Speedway in Rapid City, S.D.
Getting the lead late in the feature, the Hal Burns Truck and Equipment No. 42 worked past Adam Speckman to lead the final four revolutions. Speckman held onto second with Kelly Miller completing the night’s podium, and locking up the 2026 ASCS Northern Plains Championship.
Blayne Brink and Braden Mount completed the top five.
The series wraps up its season Saturday, July 25, at Gillette Thunder Speedway in Wyoming. Gillette Thunder Speedway is at Thunder Speedway Rd; 13002 HWY 51 in Gillette, Wyo. Information on the track is listed on their Facebook page.
The 2026 season marks the 35th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
