Honor Speedway Next For ASCS Western Plains Region

Looking to get things rolling again in the state of Colorado, the ASCS Western Plains Region will head to Pueblo’s Honor Speedway on Saturday, May 9.

The Mother’s Day Tribute weekend at the quarter-mile oval, the last ASCS visit was in 2023, with the former Elite Non-Wing series, it was current USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Champion Rookie of the Year contender, Bradley Cox, who rolled into Victory Lane.

On track this past weekend at El Paso County Raceway, Bryan Gossel captured his first win of the 2026 season.

Saturday, May 9, at Honor Speedway opens at 3:00 P.M with racing at 6:00 P.M. (MDT). Other classes include the Rocky Mountain Lightning Sprints, Colorado Vintage, Farm Trucks, Young Guns, Mod Lites, and Classic Mods. Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and military, $15 for students, $12 for youth (3-12), and free for kids three and under. Pits are $35 for all ages.

The 2026 season marks the 35th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
