The American Sprint Car Series is picking up the pace in June as drivers prepare for multiple weekends of racing on 1/4-mile and 1/2-mile tracks of the Midwest.

The month’s challenge begins with a doubleheader weekend in Oklahoma and Kansas, then a drive south to Arkansas at the halfway point, and then closes with a return to the “Sunflower State” for two nights of big racing.

Let’s see what is coming soon:

Creek County Speedway | Don Swope Classic (June 5): Opening the month is a familiar bullring to the ASCS National Tour as Creek County Speedway makes its first of two appearances on the 2026 schedule.

The Oklahoma bullring will host the Series for the 35th time since 1993 for the Don Swope Classic, which memorializes one of Tulsa’s biggest dirt track supporters and a right-hand man to ASCS founder Emmett Hahn. The ASCS Sooner Region will also be in action with the National Tour.

The 2025 edition of the Don Swope Classic saw Sam Hafertepe Jr. don the denim overalls in Victory Lane. When the Series visited Creek County for the November Fuzzy’s Fall Fling finale, Blake Hahn and Zach Daum drove to the checkered flags between the final two nights.

81 Speedway | Salute to Service Sprint Car Showdown (June 6): After the stop in Oklahoma, the American Sprint Car Series will travel 190 miles northwest to Park City, KS, for a Saturday night battle at 81 Speedway.

The track hosted the national-touring 360 Sprint Cars for the first time in 2001, with Kevin Ramey taking the night’s Feature. After a 20-year wait, the Series returned in 2021 as a 14-year-old Ryan Timms bagged his fourth career ASCS win. The last two iterations of the tour at the 3/8-mile have seen Sam Hafertepe Jr. rolling on a two-year ASCS winning streak at the track.

While the Sooner Region stays alongside the National Tour for the Saturday slate of events, the ASCS Gunsmoke Region will also join the fold for Saturday’s Salute to Service Sprint Car Showdown.

Batesville Motor Speedway (June 13): ASCS returns home for the first of two visits to Arkansas in 2026, with Batesville Motor Speedway coming on Saturday, June 16.

Through 13 previous Series visits to the 3/8-mile, it has produced 10 different winners, while Mike Ward, Gary Wright, and Tim Crawley are tied in most wins at the track with two each. In the 2025 visit, Blake Hahn scored his first win of the year after outdueling Brady Baker and Jason Martin.

Belleville High Banks | The Big One (June 26-27): American Sprint Car Series racing in June will come to a close with the return of the 1/2-mile high banks in Belleville, KS, for the second running of The Big One.

Before the inaugural edition of The Big One, the Series visited only the track once, with Brian Brown going to Victory Lane in 2015. Between the two nights of racing on Independence Day weekend of 2025, Sam Hafertepe Jr. dominated by sweeping the Friday prelim and Saturday’s $10,000-to-win prize.
