A double-header weekend in Mississippi is on deck for the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints as the tour heads to Pike County Speedway in Magnolia on Friday, June 27, and Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram on Saturday, June 28.
Four previous visits to the Magnolia, Miss. oval since 2022, Todd Fayard is the only repeat winner with the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints, with his wins coming in 2022, plus a victory for Michael Dupuy. Absent in 2023, the series’ return in 2024 went the way of Lane Whittington.
Friday, June 27 includes CRUSA/MSSS Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, Hot Shot/Stingers, and Limited Modifieds as part of their I-55 Street Stock Shootout. Pike County Speedway is located at 4151 Hwy 568 West in Magnolia, Miss. For times and prices, check their Facebook page.
Initially scheduled for April but halted by rain, Jackson Motor Speedway has become a regular stop for ASCS regional competition over the years. Looking back on the tour’s last visit in April 2024, it was Brad Bowden who rolled into Victory Lane.

Pits open at 4:00 p.m., stands at 5:00 p.m., and racing at 7:00 p.m. (CDT). Saturday’s lineup features Rogers Dabbs Crate Late Models, KB Motorsports Sportsman, Rayner’s Automotive & Repair Street Stocks, Patriot Roofing Factory Stocks, and Whitney Howze Bail Bond Hot Shots. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors, $12 for youth (6-12), and free for kids 5 and under. Pit Passes are $35.
Jake Brashier has opened his points lead to 184 over Tank Brashier. Third is held by Blake Carrier, with Butch David and the most recent tour winner, Lane Whittington, making up the top five.
The 2025 season marks the 34th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
