Stay up to date with the chase for the 2024 American Sprint Car Series National Tour championship.

LATEST RACES: Dodge City Raceway Park (August 16), Lincoln County Raceway (August 17)

CURRENT POINTS LEADER: Damage control has been the name of the game for Seth Bergman as of late. Even though championship rival Sam Hafertepe Jr. took two wins in two races over the weekend, a pair of second-place runs for Bergman kept the gap at 83 points entering Big Sky Speedway this weekend.

MOVERS

Zach Blurton (+2): The No. 2J team finished a season-best seventh on Friday night at Dodge City Raceway Park before a breakout night on Saturday at Lincoln County Raceway in which Blurton took the Dash victory and a third-place finish in the Feature. The weekend instantly added Blurton’s name to the list of win contenders on the National Tour and moved him up two spots to eighth in the standings.

Kyler Johnson (-1): Johnson’s weekend got off to a rough start Friday at Dodge City when he pulled in early and was credited with 19th in the Feature. He recovered nicely by finishing ninth at Lincoln County for his first top 10 since Tri-State Speedway in June, but the damage was already done in the points tally as he fell one spot to ninth.

Terry Easum (-1): Easum struggled to find pace on Friday night, finishing 17th for the second time in as many races at Dodge City in 2024. While he dropped one spot to 10th in the order, Easum’s 10th-place run at Lincoln County was his first top 10 with the Series since his win at Red Dirt Raceway in May, which showed some signs of life in the No. 88 camp entering Montana.
