Keeping up his winning ways, Lane Whittington captured his second score of the season with the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints, landing in Victory Lane at Pike County Speedway on Friday night.
Career win No. 4 with the series, the defending tour champion took the lead on Lap 17, according to MRP Live Timing results. Shown as the night’s third different leader, John Robicheaux led the opening two revolutions before making contact with an infield tire. Next to the front was Levi Beard.
Butch David ended up crossing second, followed by Brandon Blendon in third. Blake Carrier and Jake Brashier made up the top five.

Pits open at 4:00 p.m., stands at 5:00 p.m., and racing at 7:00 p.m. (CDT). Saturday’s lineup features Rogers Dabbs Crate Late Models, KB Motorsports Sportsman, Rayner’s Automotive & Repair Street Stocks, Patriot Roofing Factory Stocks, and Whitney Howze Bail Bond Hot Shots. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors, $12 for youth (6-12), and free for kids 5 and under. Pit Passes are $35.
The 2025 season marks the 34th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
