Landing his first career victory with the Malvern Bank ASCS Midwest Region presented by Hoosier Tire, Sawyer Phillips dashed into Victory Lane Friday night at Iowa’s Eldon Raceway.
Teamed with the Iowa-based Sprint Invaders, Phillips advanced from fourth to the top of the podium for the night’s $2,000 score. Cam Sorrels crossed second, with Cam Martin in third. Rolling from 18th, Cody Wehrle made it to fourth with Terry McCarl going 12th to fifth.
The next event for the Malvern Bank ASCS Midwest Region presented by Hoosier Tire is Friday, June 5, at Boon County Raceway in Albion, Neb.
The 2026 season marks the 35th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
