Collecting his fourth overall win on the season and fifth of his career with the ASCS Northern Plains Region on Saturday night, Canada’s Kelly Miller parked it at Gillette Thunder Speedway.
Amassing quite the record at the Wyoming oval, in his last seven visits since 2016 Miller has been in Victory Lane five times, and on the podium every time.
Getting the lead after the first lap, Miller held off Kyler Johnson by 0.674-seconds, who ended up with silver for the second night in a row. Gillette’s Logan Hershey crossed third with Shad Petersen four and Zack Merritt fifth.
The series heads for Sheridan Speedway on Sunday, July 28.
