Breaking out the broom on the ASCS Frontier Region, Canada’s Kelly Miller swept the season opening event at Big Sky Speedway in Billings, Mont.
Getting the lead on Lap, 7, taking the top spot required getting by Oklahoma’s Harli White for the second night in a row. Able to gap the field by 1.298-seconds, the win is Miller’s 16th with the series, putting him one away from matching Joe Ramaker and Logan Forler at the top of the win list.
Harli White held on for silver for the second night, while Trever Kirkland, who lead the fist five laps, ran third. Kory Wermling and Joe Perry completed the top-five.
Two in, one to go, the ASCS Frontier Region heads for Sheridan Speedway on Sunday. Sheridan Speedway, and will also feature WISSOTA Street Stock, IMCA Modified, and WISSOTA Midwest Mods. Tickets are $25 with kids $12 and under free into the grandstands. Sheridan Speedway is located at 69 Industrial Lane.
The 2025 season marks the 34th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
