Landing his third win of the 2026 season with the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints, Cody Gardner tightened his grip on the point lead Saturday night at Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, Miss.
Having won three of the four events contested in 2026, Gardner leads the field by 118 markers over Hayden Martin. Going fifth to first at the Mississippi oval, Gardner made it to the line ahead of Dale Howard, with Brad Bowden climbing nine spots to grab third. Hayden Martin crossed fourth with Ronny Howard taking fifth.
The ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints race again in Arkansas with shows on Friday, June 19, at Crowleys Ridge, and Saturday, June 20, at Riverside International Speedway.
The 2026 season marks the 35th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
