An off weekend with the National Tour of the American Sprint Car Series doesn’t mean an off weekend for Zach Blurton, as the Kansas Shoe made the drive to Sheridan Speedway and landed his first career win with the ASCS Frontier Region.
The first of a two-night affair to wrap up the 2025 season, Blurton got the lead at the start and never gave up the point over the course of 20 laps. Kelly Miller, who has secured the 2025 ASCS Frontier Region title, crossed second with Austyn Gossel in third. Elijah Gile and Christian Kinnison made up the top five.
The ASCS Frontier Region is back at Sheridan Speedway on Saturday, September 27. Tickets are $20 for adults, and free for kids 12 and under. Gates open at 4:00 p.m., with racing at 6:30 p.m. (MDT).
Sheridan Speedway is located at 69 Industrial Ln. in Sheridan, Wyo. Information, directions, and more on the Speedway can be found online or by emailing sheridanmotorsportsassoc@gmail.com.
The 2025 season marks the 34th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
