Last topping an ASCS event against the National Tour of the American Sprint Car Series at Caney Valley Speedway in 2023, Broken Arrow’s Alex Sewell added his name to another ASCS list with his first ASCS Sooner Region win Saturday night at Creek County Speedway.
Surviving several early race cautions over the first few laps, the final restart with 22 to go went the unstopped with Sewell pulling his JST Motorsports No. 8 to a near straightaway advantage on the field before the checkered flag dropped.
Joshua Tyre crossed second with Seth Bergman taking the final podium step. Sean McClelland and Bradley Fezard made up the top five.
The ASCS Sooner Region races again on Saturday, July 25, at Dodge City Raceway Park with the National Tour at the Steve King Memorial.
The 2026 season marks the 35th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
