Wings On For ASCS Elite North Special At Phillips County Raceway This Saturday

April 27, 2023 (HOLYOKE, Colo.) The second Wing Sprint Car special in Colorado this month, Phillips County Raceway will feature the ASCS Elite North Series on Saturday, April 29.

Normally a Wingless series, the first two shows of the season were tabbed as non-point, special events with the cars running ASCS rules, but the format following that of the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars. The first round took place at El Paso County Raceway on April 8 with Sammy Swindell taking the win. The hall of fame driver is set to return to this Saturday’s showdown at Phillips County.

Saturday, April 29 opens at 1:00 P.M. with racing at 6:00 P.M. (MDT). Other classes on the card include Modifieds, Sport Mods, Stocks Cars, Hobby Stocks, and Compacts. Support divisions run under the IMCA banner.

Admission is $20 for adults, $15 for Military and Seniors, $10 for youth 6-12, and free for kids five and under. Phillips County Raceway is located at 22505 US-385 in Holyoke, Colo. For information and directions, log onto https://www.bstpromotions.com/phillips-county-raceway-holyoke.
