White Seeking Second Straight Season With Solid Performance in Montana

Inside Line Promotions – ELMA, Wash. (July 3, 2018) – Harli White is eager to return to Montana this weekend when she will tackle the Grizzly Nationals.

White won a Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by SawBlade.com heat race and earned an eighth-place feature result during her debut at Gallatin Speedway in Belgrade last year.

“I’m excited to get back there and see if we can build on last year,” she said. “To be honest, I’m just ready to get back on track of finishing races and going after top 10s.”

White battled an unknown problem throughout the Fred Brownfield Classic at Grays Harbor Raceway last weekend.

“We struggled all weekend,” she said. “We were fighting a problem we didn’t know we had until we started washing on Sunday. One of our wheels had a crack in it and wasn’t holding air. We were fighting a race car that kept biking up on us every lap.”

White advanced from sixth to fourth place in a heat race, but a sixth-place result in a B Main forced her to use a provisional to tag the rear of the field for the A Main on Friday. She pulled in early and was credited with a 23rd-place finish.

Results of seventh in both a heat race and a B Main on Saturday wrapped the weekend up early.

“The track was rough and locked down,” she said. “We didn’t draw well either night so we definitely didn’t need that going on with the wheel. It was a bummer it took us the whole weekend to find the problem, but it’ll be good to get to Gallatin Speedway this weekend and know that nothing is broken on our car.”
