Inside Line Promotions – LINDSAY, Okla. (Aug. 28, 2018) – Harli White will make her debut at Lake Ozark Speedway this weekend during the 9th annual LOS 360 Sprint Car Nationals.

“We’ve been to more new tracks last year and this year than we have in previous years so I think that helps our team grow,” she said. “It’s nice to see different surfaces and see how they change as the night goes on. It’s always a learning curve to get a feel for new tracks, but that’s what helps you learn as a driver and as a team.”

White enters the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by SawBlade.com doubleheader on Saturday and Sunday at the oval in Eldon, Mo., ranked 11th in the championship standings. However, she is only 16 points out of the top 10.

“With there being a practice night on Friday we’ll try a few things to see if we can be fast out of the gate,” she said. “The No. 1 thing to make you a better driver is to see new places and new surfaces and see how you adapt. You only get three laps in hot laps at each race so you have to figure it out really quick. Any veteran driver has done that their whole career. I think I’ve matured in that sense. As far as the race car itself I think we need to keep working on it. The practice night should really help us.”

White said the team’s current battle is being too tight as the track changes throughout a 30-lap main event.

“We don’t want to get it out of whack so we do little stuff to the setup, but I think we need to go more drastic to really get a change on the car,” she added.
