Two-Points For The Title As ASCS Western Plains Head For El Paso County Raceway

Down to one for the ASCS Western Plains Region, the Colorado-based tour will head for El Paso County Raceway on Saturday, Sept. 21.

The closest battle of all the ASCS tours in 2024, the final race is a two-point game for Blair Cooper and Adam Trimble; the difference came when Trimble missed the ASCS National Tour’s visit to Lincoln County Raceway, which was co-sanctioned with the region. Taking on Midgets at I-76 Speedway that weekend, Cooper’s run earned 142 points.

Familiar ground for Trimble, the tour’s last visit on Aug. 24 resulted in his second win of the season with Cooper in tow.

Saturday, Sept. 28, opens at 1:00 p.m. with cars on track at 6:00 p.m. Admission is $20 for adults, $15 for Military and Seniors, $10 for youth 4-12, and free for kids three and under. For more information on El Paso County Raceway, call (720) 404-0400 or visit their website. El Paso County Raceway is located at 366 10th St. in Calhan, CO.
