Storm Damage Halts ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints At Greenville

Events scheduled for Saturday, May 9 at Greenville Speedway with the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints have been postponed due to storm damage.

“With all the bad weather this past week, Greenville had some damage,” explained series co-owner, Jake Brashie. “A couple light poles are down, one of their spectator towers and some of the back fence. Unfortunately we will have to try to find a suitable date to reschedule.”

The next event for the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints is May 15-16 at Ark-La-Tex Speedway in Vivian, La.

The 2026 season marks the 35th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
