Rain Takes ASCS Frontier Opener, Races On For Saturday

BILLINGS, Mont. (May 17, 2024) Heavy rains caused the cancelation of the 2024 season opener for the ASCS Frontier Region at Big Sky Speedway on Friday night.

The series is green for Saturday, May 18 at the Montana oval.

Saturday, May 18, at Big Sky Speedway open at 5:30 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (MDT). Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for veterans and seniors (65+), and free for kids 60-inches tall or shorter. Paws N Claws Sport Compacts, IMCA Modifieds, Wissota Midwest Modifieds, and Wissota Super Stocks are also on the lineup.

A reminder that all teams competing in ASCS competition must have a current DIRTcar Membership. That can be purchased at https://shorturl.at/nuIU2. The membership is $125 and is good for the 2024 calendar year.

The 2024 season marks the 33rd season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes Regional Tours encompassing Wing and Non-Wing competition.
