Rain Postpones American Sprint Car Series at 81 Speedway to September 6

New race date creates three-race weekend in September with Lakeside, Eagle

Due to persistent Saturday afternoon rainfall — which is projected to continue into the evening, according to weather models — American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) and 81 Speedway officials have postponed tonight’s events to Saturday, Sept. 6.

The Sept. 6 reschedule date will combine with the rescheduled doubleheader program at Lakeside Speedway on Friday, Sept. 5, and the Stewart Alley Memorial at Eagle Raceway on Sunday, Sept. 7, to create a three-race swing to begin the fall calendar.

The Series resumes competition next Friday–Saturday, July 18–19, in Oklahoma at Creek County Speedway and Tri-State Speedway, co-sanctioned with the ASCS Sooner Region.

Tickets for both events will be sold at the gate. If you can’t be there, stream every lap live on DIRTVision.
