A trip back to “The Magnolia State” is on deck this Saturday, May 17, for the drivers of the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints as teams converge on Pine Ridge Speedway in Guntown, Miss.
The tour’s first appearance at the Mississippi quarter-mile, the season’s third event, features a family battle for the top spot in tour standings, as Louisiana’s Jake Brashier holds a 13-point lead over D.L. (Tank) Brashier. Feature winners Christopher Townsend and Howard Moore hold third and fourth, with fifth held by Jan Howard.
Saturday, May 17 opens at 4:00 P.M. with cars on track at 7:00 P.M. (CDT). Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for youth (6-10). Other classes on the card include CRUSA 604, CRUSA 602, CRUSA Mods, CRUSA Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, Pure Street, Crown Vics, and Vintage Outlaw.
Pine Ridge Speedway is located north of Tupelo at Dr 2712 in Guntown, Miss. Information on the track can be found on their Facebook page.
The 2025 season marks the 34th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
