That’s the theme this Saturday, September 30, at Rocket Raceway Park with the inaugural running of the Rocket Launcher 30, featuring the ASCS Elite Non-Wing Series presented by Abilene Powder Coating and the MYCO Plastics ASCS Elite Outlaw Sprints.
Presenting a potential $6,000 payday, both divisions will offer up a $3,000 to win feature event. The event will also have a practice night on Friday, September 29. Other divisions on the lineup include Lone Star Dwarf Cars, racing for $500 to win, and North Texas Mod Lites, going for $1,000 to win.
Saturday, September 30, at Rocket Raceway Park, opens at 5:00 P.M. with Hot Laps at 6:30 P.M. (CDT). Admission is $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and military, $10 for youth (6-12), and free for kids five and under. Pit Passes are $40. Friday’s open practice opens at 5:30 P.M. with cars on track from 7:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. (CDT). Pits are $25.
