Bryan Hulbert – QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. (October 6, 2018) Colton Hardy added another victory to his resume this past Saturday night, scoring his sixth win of the year with the ASCS Southwest Region.
The 11th time in his career that Hardy has topped the ASCS Southwest Region, the driver of the Bandit Racing No. 74 has reassumed the points lead as well, with the top four in tour standings separated by 32 markers.
Rolling to victory at Arizona Speedway, Hardy began his run to the top of the podium from fifth. Moving to second on Lap 10, the pass for the lead came with three laps to run with Colton working past the No. 115 of Nick Parker, who ended up second. New Mexico’s Jesse Baker crossed third with Jeff Lowery and Wes Wofford completing the top-five,
Billy Chester, J.T. Imperial, Steven Tiner, Steve Cushman, and Kaylene Verville rounded out the top-ten. The ASCS Southwest Region will see action again on Saturday, October 13 at Canyon Speedway Park.
