Chris Bonneau Captures ASCS CAS Victory

Bryan Hulbert – CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (May 7, 2022) Becoming the third driver to top the ASCS CAS Non-Wing Sprint Cars, Chris Bonneau captured his first career ASCS Regional win Saturday night at Central Arizona Speedway.

The only driver this season to park in Victory Lane besides R.J. Johnson, the No. 15 took the lead from Wayne Siddle on the fifth revolution and held it from there.

Charles Davis, Jr., who is the only other driver to win with the series in 17 races, crossed second, with Logan Calderwood third. Jonas Reynolds crossed fourth, with R.J. Johnson rebounding to fifth after leading the opening three laps.

The ASCS CAS Non-Wing Sprint Cars return to Central Arizona Speedway on Saturday, June 4.

The 2022 season will mark the 31st year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, the ASCS Nation includes Regional Tours that encompass both wing and non-wing competition.
