BRODIX Cylinder Heads, the longest-running and most influential partner of the American Sprint Car Series (ASCS), is enhancing its involvement with the nation’s premier 360 Sprint Car sanctioning body.
Producing the staple spec cylinder head since the Series’ inception in 1992, the 2025 Series champion and the top-finishing rookie will receive a set of new ASCS-spec BRODIX Cylinder Heads.
Founded in 1965, BRODIX originated from a jobbing foundry, which produced all types of high-quality aluminum castings. High-strength alloys were the specialty of Francis Dix, the “Dix” in BRODIX. Along came J.V. Brotherton, the “Bro” in BRODIX, who married Paula, the daughter of Francis and Dorothy Dix. J.V.’s hobby was racing automobiles.
