Landon Britt opened his August racing slate on Tuesday night at Lakeside Speedway (Kansas City, Kan.) with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series (ASCS).
Twenty Sprint Car pilots registered for action, and Landon qualified second fastest in his group before starting and finishing third in his heat race.
For the night’s 25-lap feature he rolled off the grid eighth, but slipped to a 12th-place finish.
