American Sprint Car Series officials have issued a fine to Sprint Car driver Brady Baker for failing a fuel test after competing in the American Sprint Car Series National Tour event at Batesville Motor Speedway on June 22, 2024.
Fuel samples were collected at the conclusion of the Feature at the event and brought to the ASCS command center where a field test was conducted. The samples that did not pass the field test were sent to an independent laboratory for further testing.
The test revealed the fuel received from the sample was not 100% methanol and did not conform to the benchmark.
Due to the violation, Baker has been disqualified from the event at Batesville Motor Speedway on June 22 and fined, in total $1,600 – $500 fine, $100 for the fuel analysis, and $1,000 in prize money from the event – along with the loss of all championship points earned from the event.
