Bryan Hulbert – TULSA, Okla. (June 7, 2018) U.S. 36 Raceway returns with the always highly anticipated Bud Shootout on Friday, June 8 with the Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps headlining the Friday affair.
Slated to be the seventh round of the 2018 season, the Bud Shootout offers teams a bonus of $500 to win Heat Races. Last year’s event drew a field of 20 drivers with Nebraska’s Jordan Boston picking up his third career ASCS sanctioned victory.
Going into the Bud Shootout, Miles Paulus leads the 2018 tour standings by 105 points over Evan Martin. Rookie of the Year contender, Aiden Roosevans, holds third with Curtis Evans and Taylor Walton making up the top-five. Kyle Bellm is tied for the fifth position but holds sixth with Walton’s Double X Speedway win giving him the edge. Zach Daum, Randy Martin, Mason Daniel, and Austin Alumbaugh fill out the top-ten.
Friday, June 8 at U.S. 36 Raceway opens at 6:00 P.M. with Hot Laps at 7:30 P.M. Admission is $20 with Veterans, Military, and Seniors admitted for $18. Kids 7-12 years of age get in for $8 and kids six and under get in free. U.S. 36 Raceway is located at 9850 S. Hwy. 33 in Osborn, Mo.
