Lonnie Wheatley, TULSA, Okla. (September 12, 2011) – The Engine Pro ASCS Sprints on Dirt presented by ARP venture across the border one last time in 2011 for this weekend’s 7th Annual Canadian Sprint Car Nationals at Ontario’s Ohsweken Speedway.
The three-night event culminates with Saturday night’s $11,000-to-win Canadian Sprint Car Nationals finale. Two nights of competition on Thursday and Friday precede the finale. Show-up points only will be awarded to SOD teams competing in the event.
With seven wins in 14 tries, Dustin Daggett leads the SOD forces into Canada with others among the top ten in points including Brett Mann, Robert Huisken, Ryan Ruhl, Davey Brown, Jim Lingar, Matt Lumbert, Andy Teunessen, Ryan Grubaugh and Marques Huffer.

The 32nd year of competition for the Engine Pro ASCS Sprints on Dirt presented by ARP consists of 27 scheduled nights of action at 13 different tracks throughout Michigan, Ohio and Ontario.
The 2011 season marks the 20th year of sanctioning Sprint Car racing for the American Sprint Car Series, with approximately 200 nights of competition at tracks throughout the nation and into Canada. Anchored by the Lucas Oil Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters, ASCS also consists of ten different Regions throughout the nation.
