Bryan Hulbert – AZTEC, N.M. (June 7, 2022) From the Mesilla Valley in the first battle, to the four-corners region of New Mexico, the ASCS Southwest Region will go head-to-head with the POWRi Desert Sprint Car Series on Friday, June 10, and, Saturday, June 11 at Aztec Speedway in Aztec, N.M.
Squaring up over the Memorial Day Weekend at Vado Speedway Park, the Southwest Region took the sweep with John Carney II wheeling the Verville No. 01 to Victory Lane. The 70th Birthday bash for the northern New Mexico oval, this weekend will also include IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Hobby Stocks, IMCA Northern Sport Mods, and Dwarf/Mod Lites.
Friday, June 10 opens at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 8:00 P.M. (MDT). Saturday, June 11 moves times to 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. (MDT). Tickets per night are $20 for Adults, $17 for Senior and Military, $7 for Youth (6-14), and free for Kids five and under. Pit Passes are $35.
