Bryan Hulbert – QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. (November 23, 2021) The final weekend of the season for the ASCS Southwest Region and the San Tan Ford ASCS Desert Non-Wing Series is this Friday, November 26, and Saturday, November 27 with the sixth running of the Copper Classic at Arizona Speedway.
Set to be the final round of action ever contested at the Queen Creek oval, the final run will feature a season-ending $7,500 payday for the ASCS Southwest Region and a $2,000 top prize for the ASCS Desert Non-Wing Series on Saturday night. Friday’s prelim will pay $2,000 to wings, and $1,000 to Non-Wing.
Prior to the post-Thanksgiving showdown, there will be practice on Wednesday, November 24 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. (MT).
ASCS Desert Non-Wing will use the standard ASCS Passing Point Format.
For the ASCS Southwest Region, the following format has been approved.
Wednesday Practice is free for the grandstands. Pits are $30 and open at 3:00 P.M. (MT).
Friday, November 26, and Saturday, November 27 opens at 3:00 P.M. with Qualifying at 5:45 P.M. Racing begins at 6:35 P.M. (MT). No mufflers will be required all weekend. Tickets are on sale at https://www.arizonaspeedway.net.
