Keeping the season short-and-sweet in 2026, the ASCS Northern Plains Region will focus on keeping its events in pairs and to-the-point, with the entire eight-race series run entirely during the months of June and July.
The series will put competitors in a two-title scenario with the ASCS Western Plains Region, with six nights co-sanctioned with the Colorado-based tour. The final two nights on the schedule are not co-sanctioned, but run without conflict.
Starting at El Paso County Raceway in Calhan, Colo., on June 5-6, the next stop is Sweetwater Speedway in Rock Springs, Wyo., on June 19-20. Into July, it’s back-and-forth between Rapid City, S.D., and Gillette, Wyo., on July 3-4 and July 24-25.
The ASCS Northern Plains Region is run by Eddie Kirchoff, and can be reached at blackhillsspeedway@gmail.com or (307) 660-8866.
The 2026 season marks the 35th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
