Teaming with the Sprint Invaders for another head-to-head battle this Friday, May 8, the ASCS Midwest Region will venture back to Iowa to the semi-banked half-mile, Eldon Raceway.
The ASCS Midwest Region debut event at the Wapello County Fairgrounds oval, the Sprint Invaders have been absent from the track’s schedule since 2023, with the June 15 win going to Tasker Phillips. Other winners with the series include Riley Goodno, Dominic Scelzi, and John Schulz.
Round two of the 2026 season, the tour’s return to action saw Chris Martin victorious at Stuart Speedway on April 19.
Friday, May 8, opens at 5:00 P.M. for the pits, 6:00 P.M. for the grandstands, and will see cars on track at 7:00 P.M. (CDT). Admission is $15 for adults, $5 for youth (6-12), and free for kids five and under. Pits are $35 for all ages. Hobby Stocks and Vintage Sprint Cars are also on the card.

The 2026 season marks the 35th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
