The long-awaited return of the Malvern Bank ASCS Midwest Region presented by Hoosier Tire has arrived, with the opening round of the 2026 season taking place on Sunday, April 19, at Iowa’s Stuart Speedway, along with the Sprint Invaders.
Going for $2,000 to win, $400 to start on Sunday, “The Best in the Midwest” will be there in force with names like Tasker Phillips, Jason Danley, Jack Thomas, Cole Vanderheiden, Stu Snyder, and multi-time series champion, Billy Alley, among the list of drivers committed to take part in the 2026 championship chase.
Featuring the Sprint Invaders last year for the April showdown at Stuart, Chase Porter stood victorious over a field of 34. Terry McCarl crossed second with Colton Fisher in third.
Looking to Sunday, grandstands are slated to open at 4:30 P.M. with cars on track at 5:30 P.M. (CDT). Admission is $20 for anyone 17-years and older, $10 for youth (11-16), and free for kids 10 and under. Pits are $35 for those 14-years and older. Other divisions on the card include IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Northern Sport Mods, IMCA Hobby Stocks, and IMCA Sport Compacts.
