Bryan Hulbert – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (January 24, 2022) Back in action across Arkansas and surrounding states, the ASCS Mid-South Region will embark on an 18-race lineup in 2022.
Eleven dates in Arkansas, the schedule also includes stops in Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, and Oklahoma. Basing eight events at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Ark.) including the COMP Cams Short Track Nationals, other Arkansas venues include Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Ark.), Crowleys Ridge Raceway (Paragould, Ark.), and Texarkana 67-Speedway (Texarkana, Ark.).
Outside “The Natural State”, stops include Super Bee Speedway (Chatham, La.) and Dirt on the Rev (Monroe, La.). Into Mississippi on three occasions, Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Miss.) takes two of those, in a co-sanctioned weekend worth $10,000 to the winner with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series on Friday, April 1, and Saturday, April 2. Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Miss.) takes the third Mississippi night.
Co-Sanctioned with the Racinboys.com ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps, the tour will see action at Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Mo.). Taking on the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products, the last traveling stop is at the mighty Tri-State Speedway (Pocola, Okla.)
Events with the ASCS Mid-South Region offer a $2,000 to win, $300 to start payout.
The 2022 season will mark the 31st year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, the ASCS Nation includes Regional Tours that encompass both wing and non-wing competition.
