ASCS Mid-South At “The Ditch” Falls To Rain

WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. (September 2, 2017) With the remains of Hurricane Harvey moving across the southern United States, it accompanying rains has proven too much for the Riverside International Speedway as officials have been forced to call off tonight’s ASCS Mid-South event.

While Saturday’s forecast is desirable, the track and pits are saturated to the point that attempting a race would be futile as teams and fans would have nowhere to park. At this time, ASCS Mid-South and Riverside International Speedway officials are looking at a date to reschedule.

For now, the next events on the lineup for the ASCS Mid-South Region is at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Ark. on Saturday, September 9 and Diamond Park Speedway in Murfreesboro, Ark. on Sunday, September 10.
