Bryan Hulbert – TULSA, Okla. (May 15, 2019) Looking to get the 2019 season rolling, the ASCS Lone Star Region will be in action on Saturday, May 18 at the quarter-mile Abilene Speedway.
One show in so far in 2019 with Mother Nature making her presence known this season, the return of the ASCS Lone Star Region to Abilene Speedway marks the first time the series has been back since 2014 when two visits saw Johnny Herrera topping action on April 26, followed by Odessa, Texas native, Josh Baughman, on July 12.
Saturday, May 18 at Abilene Speedway opens at 5:30 P.M. with racing getting underway at 8:00 P.M. (CT). The night’s lineup of classes will also include IMCA Modifieds, Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, Sport Mods, Street Stocks, and Jr. Mini Stocks.
Admission is $15, Military ID gets in for $10. kids 6-12 get in for $5, and children five and under get in free. Abilene Speedway is located at 6825 W. HWY 80 Abilene, Texas.
