ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints Rolling To Jackson This Saturday

One Hurricane moves out, and another one moves in. At least that will be the scene this week in Louisiana with the season’s last visit to Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, MS, by the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints on Saturday, Sept. 14.

One previous visit to the Mississippi oval in 2024, Brad Bowden stood tall in Victory Lane with his third victory of the season.

With five events left on the 2024 season, including this weekend, Lane Whittington holds a 120-point advantage going into this Saturday’s affair, with Jake Brashier still in the mix with 140 points to make up. Evan McElhaney and Brad Bowden make up the top five in tour standings.

Saturday, September 14, will include Rogers Dabbs Crate Late Models, KB Motorsports Sportsman, Rayner’s Automotive & Repair Street Stocks, Patriot Roofing Factory Stocks, and Hot Shots. Pits open at 4:00 p.m., Grandstands at 5:00 p.m., and racing is at 7:00 p.m. (CDT). Stands are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors, $12 for youth (7-12), and free for kids six and under. Pits are $35.
