ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints Returning To Greenville Speedway

The season’s second venture to Mississippi’s Greenville Speedway, the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints are back on track on Saturday, July 13.

The 12th event of the 2024 season, the last trip to Greenville, came on May 18. “Pretty Boy” Brad Bowden rolled from fourth to the lead in the first five laps for his third career win with the series. Taking a part-time schedule with the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints, Bowden is currently sixth in tour standings, while Lane Whittington leads the way with two wins on the season, including the tour’s last outing at Pike County Speedway on June 29.

Jake Brashier sits second, with 108 points separating himself from Whittington. Evan McElhaney, Jan Howard, and Tommy Hall make up the top five.

A $ 2,000-to-win affair, Saturday’s card will include Crate Late Models, Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, Hot Shots, and Young Guns. Gates opens at 5 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m. (CDT). Tickets are $20 for adults, $5 for youth (6-10), and free for kids five and under. Pits are $35.
