A quick drive across the Mississippi River to take on “The Ditch” is on deck for the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints this weekend, as Riverside International Speedway takes center state on Saturday, August 23.

A track known for tough local competitors, the tour’s last visit was topped by ASCS National Tour winning shoe, Landon Britt during the Greg Hodnett Memorial in July.

Going into the Saturday showdown, Louisiana’s Jake Brashier continues to lead tour standings with the gap growing to 476 points over Lane Whittington, who recently took the spot from Tank Brashier. Butch David and Jan Howard make up the top five.

The 11th round of the 2025 season, the tour is far from over with seven events left after this weekend in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.

Saturday, August 23, tickets are $25 for adults, $5 for youth (6-11), and free for kids five and under. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. with racing at 7:30 p.m. Riverside International Speedway is located at 151 Legion Road in West Memphis, Ark.

The 2025 season marks the 34th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
