ASCS Gulf South Back At Battleground This Saturday

Bryan Hulbert – TULSA, Okla. (June 11, 2017) The Griffith Truck and Equipment ASCS Gulf South Region returns to action on Saturday, June 16 at San Jacinto Battleground Speedway in Highlands, Texas.

Promoted by Bruce Griffith’s Old School Racing, the recently added event is to help make up for some of the dates lost earlier this year by Mother Nature.

Going into the Saturday affair, the championship points lead is in the hands of Ray Allen Kulhanek by a mere point over Channin Tankersley. Both earning wins through the first three events on the season, the two past series champions are being pursued by Tommy Bryant with Koty Adam’s and Dustin Gates making the top-five.

Saturday, June 16 at San Jacinto Battleground Speedway goes green at 8:00 P.M. (CT) and includes Dwarf, ModLites, Factory Stocks, and Limited Modifieds. Admission is $15 with kids age six and under free. Battleground Speedway is located at 10625 Crosby Lynchburg Rd.
