Bryan Hulbert – ROCK SPRINGS, Wy. (August 31, 2021) Four nights of racing are on the docket for the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region, with the series rolling into Sweetwater Speedway in Rock Springs, Wy. on Friday, September 3, and Saturday, September 4 before rolling into Desert Thunder Raceway in Price, Utah on Sunday, September 5 and Monday, September 6.
The season’s second trip to Sweetwater Speedway, the two-night August affair, was a split between Colby Thornhill and Tyler Driever. The trip to Desert Thunder is the first time for the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region at the Utah oval.
Going into the four-night swing, Logan Forler has assumed command of the points by one over Tyler Driever, with Kory Wermling following by only 36. Trever Kirkland and Michael Bingham complete the top five in tour standings.
Friday, September 3 and Saturday, September 4 at Sweetwater Speedway open at 5:30 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (MDT). Along with the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region, the weekend will include IMCA Modifieds, Sport Mods, Stock Cars, Cruisers, and Go Karts. Karts complete starting at 6:00 P.M.
Admission each night is $15 with Youth (13-17), Seniors (60+), and Armed Forces admitted for $5. Kids 12 and under get in free. Sweetwater Speedway is located at 3320 Yellowstone Rd. in Rock Springs, Wy. Information on the track can be found online at http://www.sweetwaterspeedway.com.
Sunday, September 5 at Desert Thunder Raceway open at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (MDT). Monday, September 6, moves that start time to 5:00 P.M. (MDT). The weekend includes IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Northern Sport Mods, IMCA Hobby Stocks, 305 Modifieds, Sport Stocks, Bombers, and IMCA Sport Compacts.
Tickets are $15 per day, $12 for Senior and Military, $8 for Youth (6-12), and free for kids five and under. Pits are $25 per day.
