Bryan Hulbert – BILLINGS, Mont. (August 16, 2022) The annual tribute to the man who laid the foundation for Big Sky Speedway, the Harvey Ostermiller Memorial, presented by Briggs Distributing and Kirkness Roofing takes place this weekend in Billings, Mont.

A single-night affair in 2021 that went the way of Logan Forler, this year’s show expands to two nights with racing Friday, August 19, and Saturday, August 20.

Kelly Miller, Ian Myers, and Phil Dietz make up the top five in tour standings. In 11 events so far this season, Kirkland leads the win count with three. A pair of wins each to Colby Thornhill and Logan Forler, the rest of the wins have been scooped up by Kory Wermling, Phil Dietz, James Setters, and Nick Haygood.

Friday, August 19, and Saturday, August 20, open at 5:30 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (MDT). Friday’s lineup includes Midwest Mods, Street Stocks, and Sport Compacts. Saturday swaps out the Sport Compacts for IMCA Modifieds. Tickets are $20 per night, $15 for veterans and seniors, and free for kids 60-inches tall and shorter.
