ASCS Frontier Making Memorial Day Weekend Run To Electric City Speedway

Fresh off the start of the 2025 season at Big Sky Speedway, the ASCS Frontier Region is wasting no time getting back on track with a quick jog north to Electric City Speedway in Great Falls, Mont. on Friday, May 23, and Saturday, May 24.

Question on the weekend, can anyone catch Kelly Miller?

The defending champion has served notice with a weekend sweep of action in Billings, but it has been a minute since he went to Victory Lane at the Great Falls oval. Two wins in his last 10 starts, his last one came on September 1, 2023. That doesn’t mean he’s not a threat, with an average finish of fourth since 2019 that includes eight top fives, and nine top ten finishes.

Looking through current standings, Harli White trails by 16, followed by Kory Wermling, Joe Perry, and Trever Kirkland to make up the top five.

In the tour’s last regional on July 13, 2024, Rich Bailey parked in Victory Lane. Two trips during Labor Day last season were paired with ASCS National competition and a Hank Davis sweep.

Friday, May 23, and Saturday, May 24, open at 5:30 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (MDT). WISSOTA Super Stock, WISSOTA Street Stock, and IMCA Modifieds fill the card. Tickets per day are $20 for adults, $17 for seniors (55+), military, youth (13-17), and $5 for kids 12 and under. Pits are $30.

Electric City Speedway is located at 2801 Old Harve Hwy. north of Great Falls, Mont. Information and direction can be found at ElectricCitySpeedway.com.

The 2025 season marks the 34th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
